Best Travel Beauty

So when you’re traveling you need to take care of yourself! Taking care of your skin, hair, etc can make you feel and look like your best self. Since you don’t have unlimited room in your luggage you can’t bring everything. Here are some of my tried and true favorites.

First thing is when I fly I never wear makeup because when I do I always break out! So when I hop off the plane and I’m at my destination I steam my skin and use a sheet mask and try to feel human again.

Lush solid shampoo

Lush Lullaby Shampoo Bar

Honey I Washed My Hair Shampoo Bar by Lush 1.9 oz

Easy to transport in their little metal cases, this stuff makes my hair vibrant, shiny and strong. Plus there are a lot choices in terms of scents and different kinds for different hair types. Also one bar will last me like 4-5 months. I’m a big fan of lush because they’re an ethical brand that uses great ingredients but the quality is also wonderful.

Micellar Water (Sephora and Garnier)

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover, 13.5 Fluid Ounce

I like the little travel sized bottle of this. It works wonders. I’ve always been bad about taking my makeup off but now I’ve been really good about. This stuff doesn’t strip your face of moisture like makeup wipes or harsh makeup remover.

Spongellé

Spongellé freesia pear body wash infused buffer

Spongelle 1 Daisy Shaped with French Lavender/Meyer Lemon Infusion, 2.5-Ounce

Spongellé is a body buffer infused with body wash! This way you don’t have to pack body wash and a body buffer separately. This one I received complimentary as an Allure. It’s great if you have dry skin and the scent of this one is amazing.

Tatcha Soothing Silk Body Butter

After you exfoliate you have to moisturize of course. This is a Japanese brand and this body butter has Japanese Indigo which is great for sensitive or irritated skin. It’s a small travel sized jar and you don’t need much product because it does a terrific job.

Klorane dry shampoo with oak milk

Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk – All Hair Types , 3.2 oz.

When you’re traveling and can’t always shower or don’t want to wash your hair- dry shampoo is your best friend. This one is amazing! Seriously makes you hair feel so much fresher. And it comes in travel size! Klorane has so many different types to suit your hair type.

Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask 1.0oz./29ml. – Travel Size, 6-Free Hair Care Formula (See Description)

I also got this in a travel size which is so useful. I’ve never used a hair mask before and I had really good results. Often when I’m traveling a long distance via train or plane I just put my hair up and it feels so dull. This mask has organic ingredients and makes your hair feel so moisturized and healthy. You just leave it on for 10-15 minutes, when you get to your destination after traveling it will make your hair feel so much better.

Makeup

So you’ve done all of the above and you’re ready to escape your hostel/hotel/airbnb and do some sight seeing! You want to be presentable and be able to take selfies but not wear 1000 pounds of makeup. I opt for some moisturizer and concealer (ELF) or BB Cream (Garnier or Nivea).  Then a little eyeliner (Finger tip eyeliner Sephora), brows (Brow Wiz by Anstassia).

To finish off a little mascara like this one by Mally and a little bit of eye shadow Freematic by Doucce. I find that this volumizing mascara by Mally make me look fully awake…even if I’m surviving on 3 hours of sleep.

Add lip balm and you’re ready to go!

Note that this Allure Beauty Box was complementary because I’m an Allure Beauty Enthusiast! You can click to join here.

I’m also a part of Influenster and sometimes through doing many many product reviews I also received Voxboxes- like earlier this year I got three full-sized Makeup Forever rouge artist lipsticks.  Both programs are free so I definitely recommend joining. However remember that you don’t get boxes regularly it’s random and depends on reviews and your social reach.

What other travel beauty products do you like? Anyone else use Influenster or Allure Beauty Enthusiast?
